Provision of Shaft and Tunnel Excavation Monitoring System for the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 Project (STEM) IDMS Provision
Provision of web database called STEMS and training to all respective parties involved in Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 Project. The DTSS2 uses deep tunnels to channel the flows of used water by gravity to centralized water reclamation plants. A series of link sewers collect the used water from the sewerage network and feed the used water into the deep tunnels. The purpose of STEMS is to integrate all construction monitoring and instrumentation data into a common system environment and to process and present the data into user friendly graphical formats.

The Integrated Waste Management Facilities (IWMF) will be co-located with PUB’s Deep Tunnel Sewage System (“DTSS”) Phase 2 TWRP. Jointly, the development of the IWMF and TWRP at the Tuas View Basin site is known as the Tuas Nexus. The co-location will allow various synergies between the two facilities to be developed and optimized for the mutual benefit of both facilities. The purpose of IDMS is to integrate all construction monitoring and instrumentation data into a common system environment and to process and present the data into user friendly graphical formats.
